Purdafash- The Revolution is Here !!

January ,2006:Rang De Basanti wakes up a generation that was widely written off as “too materialistic” and “too self centered” by everyone around them.

March and August,2006:The common man, led by the Indian youth, takes to the streets to demand justice to murderers of Jessica Lall and Priyadarshini Mattoo and makes the courts sit up and take notice of them.

The generation realizes the “explosive power” within. All that is needed for a revolution to happen is a spark…..

August 24, 2007: Purdafash arrives
Let the Revolution Begin !!

Purdafash.com is launched to highlight the problems of the common man and bring together all the forces that can solve that problem. The venture is powered by IIT and IIM pass outs as well as youngsters who had earlier made Tehelka and CNN-IBN the success that they currently are.

Now no person is common enough, no problem is too small; if anything has left you feeling sad, frustrated, angry or helpless come to Purdafash and post it for the world to see and let people who can solve your problem reach out to you. So go ahead…FIGHT BACK!!

You might be aware that India has more than 275 Public Sector Undertakings under Govt. of India and except a very few, most of them are on red and accmulating losses year after year due to rampant corruption at the top, mismanagement, lopsided policies, concerned administrative Ministry's interference, favouritism and nepotism. The employees are a neglected lot as highly qualified technocrats are also not entitled for pension or even medical facility after retirement due to discriminative policy adopted by Govt. of India while Central Govt. employees enjoy pension and medical facility after retirement. Most of the MPs and Union Ministers who are wealthy and highly corrupt have many privileges like pension, medical treatment abroad or in super speciality hospitals, National Seeds Corporation (NSC) employees are denied pension or even medical facility after retirement. Delhi High Court ordered that CGHS facility to be extended to the retired employees of NSC on 06th Nov.'06 but the shameless Min. of Health and F.W. appealed to the Div.Bench for quashing the order only when contempt petition was filed for disregarding the High Court Order.
No civilized Govt. anywhere in the world would resort to such inhuman treatment.
Can you mobilise public support to bring sense to the most incompetent Govt. of India?
